nope just for a little while for ppl that didnt come to the church to see her in her gown but then i changed her into a carters short sleeve cotton little white with pink polka dot dress

My DS wore his outfit the whole time -- and he was comfy. He took a 1 1/2 hr nap at this party, so I am pretty sure he was comfy

Nope, only in the Church. The gown is a 100 year old family heirloom so there was no way I was leaving him in it and risk him ruining it

Ditto it never even occured to me to have a second outfit.
It was cotton and he was comfortable the whole time.

I changed DD. I didn't feel she'd be comfortable to wear the dress all day. She fell asleep in the stroller as soon as I changed her ,lol.

We had a white and khaki outfit for the party. He never got into it. He fell asleep at the church and slept THROUGH the ENTIRE party. 
I felt horrible for friends and family that had never seen him. They got to see his face asleep in the carseat.

DS's outfit is short sleeve to the ankle with a long sleeve coat over it.
I'm just worried since Sunday is going to be in the 50s that he might get cold.
I don't want to take him out of it, so I'm thinking about putting a layer underneath and bringing a really warm blanket if necessary...

DD only wore her outfit to the church and for pictures. It was actually so unexpectedly hot that day I am thankful I had 2 changes of clothes for the restaurant. All of the babies were so miserable with the heat and being in the clothes (it really was hotter than anyone expected)

I think so...slept for most of the party in the outfit. It was August and I made sure to get short-sleeves and short-type pants (one-piece). The restaurant had AC so he actually had a blanket.

DS wore his Christening outfit for a little while at his party. Then I changed him into this...my sister had it made for him!
(it is a onesie like outfit, but pants and sleeves and was a soft lightweight cotton)
