Did/Does anyone not give their 22 month old(or around there) a nap? Or when did you stop all naps?

Did/Does anyone not give their 22 month old(or around there) a nap? Or when did you stop all naps?
DD is almost 22 months old and has never been a great sleeper...waking during the night on most nights needing to be held for over an hour...up until about a month ago when she started sleeping through the night on almost all nights. We gave up her first nap at a year when it was clear she didnt need it anymore. Anyway she will only fall asleep in the car or stroller for naps now and it takes an increasingly long length of time to get her to go down. Yesterday she got only 8 hours of sleep at night(to her usual 11) and would not take a nap for anything. So we put her down at night a little earlier with no nap (8:30) and she fell asleep in 2 minutes(usually takes an hour) and is now still sleeping 13 hours later.... She never got cranky yesterday at all, in fact she was more patient with herself when she couldnt do things(get food on fork, etc) and didnt start to act sleepy until bedtime... Is it possible she needs no nap at this age??

my DS is the same age and still takes about a 2 hour nap, but he only sleeps about 10-11 hours at night.
I would be surprised if my 21 month old gave up his nap, but I did read that at this age they need about 12-15 hours of sleep in a 24 hour pd so if she is getting that all at night maybe she doesnt need it.
What is your daughters schedule like? Have you ever tried CIO with her?
