If hes not hungry and not wet .. probable just wants human contact.. not sure if you can really break that at his age.. I would say over time it may be something hell grow out of on his own. I say enjoy those times even tho its hard b/c your tired, but remember their only that age once.. and when hes not wanting to be snuggled anymore youll wish for those days.

Do you have a video monitor? Honestly, I would try not going in for a few nights. Ryan was doing this - originally I was feeding him and then I realized there's no way he's hungry. Then I stopped the night time feeding and decided to see how long he went. The first few nights he cried for 10-15-minutes (but honestly after 5 minutes of crying it was more babble/whining). Within a few days we were under 5 minutes and now he doesn't get up at all - FINALLY!

I could write this myself. My DS is 3 months. Someone told me that he is just looking for you and you can avoid this by sticking your nightshirt in his crib so he can smell you. Do it tightly so he can't get it out.I wedged it in between the mattress and the sheet. Good luck.
