Did HSG test affect your cycle?

Hi ladies, just a little background, my periods are super regular I always get my period on day 27 without fail. This month I had my HSG test and my period was due Sunday and it never came, I waited all day Monday and nothing! I really thought that this was it so this morning when I woke up and realized that af still wasn't here I tested and bfn. Of course the witch just came a little while ago but I'm just so confused as to why my period would've been 3 days late when I'm always on time. Can the HSG mess with your cycle or make you ovulate later or not at all?

I've had this a few times...I'm really really regular...only answer I can give is that things change when you start TTC. I don't know why that is...but try not to look to far into it.

It's so funny you posted this. I am in the same ^#)*$^ boat as you. The first day of my last AF was September 13. I had the HSG done on September 23. AF STILL HAS NOT SHOWN UP!!!!!!!! This is day 41. And no, I am not pregnant. I just emailed my nurse at the RE's office to see if this is normal or not.

It's the Heisenberg theory - I posted about it last week. It's a theory in physics and quantum physics. Basically it says that the simple act of observing something changes its behavior. It's the same thing with TTC, search the boards and you will see so many posts identical to yours and then the woman getting AF a few days later.
