Did something different at the gym

i tried jogging on the treadmill this morning. i last about 3 min on 2.5 speed. it wasn't too bad. i need to get it in slow since i have asthma and i don't want to over do it. i'll do it light for a while until i know that i could go faster. this was a big step

Good for you. Like OP said, slow steps will equal big strides.
I too started slow, Im no runner but I can jog for 10-12 min at 5.5 ...

thanks. trying something different with my workout. this is something that i need to take really slow since i have asthma. i don't want to overdo it

Awesome Gail!!! Have you thought about looking into the Couch to 5K program? It starts off easy and builds you up. It is a 9 week program but YOU make it what you need it to be, like 12 or 15 weeks. And you will see HUGE changes just doing this. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

no i haven't. this is something i need to take real slow. i don't want to over do it with my asthma. i use my pump before i workout
