Yes! A week before closing they said they were taking an in the wall AC unit (we have central air so we didn't care so much-but we did have to fill in the wall right away) BUT...the night of the walk through they said they wanted to take the bathroom fixtures (toothbrush holder, towel ring, tp holder, etc). They were white ceramic pieces of junk, but I wasn't ready to redo the bathroom yet- they were held into the wall on metal sliders...I said NO WAY.

I work with a man who bought his house 20 plus years ago. The morning they moved in he dropped his wife off with several boxes of stuff from his truck and left her there to do another run.

When he returned he found her on the stoop crying. The previous owner took ALL of the lightbulbsChat Icon Chat Icon This was before the days of 24 hour Home Depots nad it was after 7 on a Saturday. They had to wait until the next day to move in.

My lawyer told us that lightbulbs are a big deal to a lot of people, especially those expensive ones in the high hats. He told us one time someone insisted it be in the contract that he was taking all the lightbulbs, b/c he said he'd just replaced them all for the open house and they were like $5 each. So rediculous.

I'm talking about regular old cheap lightbulbs of about 30 years ago and it wasn't in the contract.

I would love to take my door knobs with me when I move, considering I paid $75 each for them.

In the contract it says that the sellers are taking this little red maple tree and a park bench. I hope thats all they take because it should be listed in that part of the contract if they are planning on it.
