Did you get DC's daycare teachers gifts when graduating to new room?
Thomas graduates to the Toddler Room in October.
Did you get any type of gift as a thank you for the teachers in the old room?
One of his regular teachers just left, and we got her a gift certificate for a salon/spa as a thank you and good luck. We did Am Ex gift cards for Christmas. What does everyone do (if anything) for graduating to next room?

So you won't give them anything when he graduates, but then give all his teachers (new and old) gifts at Christmas?

I gave gifts at the end of each term. Small stuff - flowers, candy.
When they graduated I gave bigger gifts.

My son "graduates" on wednesday. He has 3 main teachers that I know (he probably has more floaters that I don't see or know). Anyway, coincidentally 2 of them are leaving the end of this week. One is the lead teacher and the other is an assistant teacher (who I LOVE and I know she has a special bond with matthew -- even though he wasn't going to be in her room anymore I was really sad this morning when I found out).
I am going to get them all gifts. I do at Christmas time too. Just a small token of my appreciation for if not for them I would be a bundle of nerves at work each day.
I gave them cash for Christmas. I may do gc's this time. Haven't decided yet.
