My skin cleared up (the pill I was on was making it nuts) but then it acted up again. Also, some blotches I had went away

THere was no difference for me.

Yes, I was very greasy when I first went off the pill - skin & hair. But after my body adjusted, it went back to being clear.

My skin breakouts are triggered by hormones, so, on the pill, my skin is very nice. Oh, well. I guess we'll see. To be honest, I am ready to go off it. I don't like what it does to me in some ways....

If you already know you don't like how the pill makes you feel then I suggest you go off as soon as you can. I didn't trust my instinct and I stayed on a year longer than I wanted too. I would get very moody, and I instantly felt a difference with that when I went off. Then I was annoyed that I waited so long. I went off 7 months before TTC. I also noticed a change in my skin. I do break out from time to time, when I was on the pill my skin was great.

Yes my skin got horrible. I went to the derm and she said once I get PG it should clear up since I will not be ovulating. I hope that is the case.

I just had my first month off the pill & noticed mys kin is not as clear  , but on a good note AF came 30 days later, so I hope to have normal cycle right away & maybe get PG this coming summer!!!

YES, it got terrible. I got acne all over my shoulders and back and I mean WELTS. It was nasty and unfortunatly happened in the summer so it was more visible.
It took 2 months or so to finally clear up.

At first it was fine, now fast forward 5 months and its a mess. It looks fine to the average person, but I can tell it looks, and feels different.

When I came off the pill, my skin went back to the way it was before. It was very greasy and broken out when I got AF and normal for the rest of the month.
Now that I am pg, my skin has been horribly broken out. I hope it goes back to normal after baby comes.

I'm only on month 2 of being off the pill and I haven't noticed any change but now I'm getting a little nervous!! I did think that I would lose weight coming off the pill but that also did not happen.

I think my skin took a turn for the worse.
I also gained weight when I went off of it (which I was NOT expecting - if anything, I thought I would lose).
I am now back ON the pill for awhile!

My skin is disgusting. It was so clear when I was on the pill. Now I get the infected cyst pimples all on my chin. They are hideous, painful, and scar!! So frusturating!!

yes! mine went haywire and it was the month before my wedding. i had to go to the dermatologist for some emergency help. it's slightly better now (5 months later).
