Hee Hee...I tricked DH into it, I just drove to the school after dinner. He followed me, wondering where in the h%ll I was going.

Re: Did you vote today?
No I am bad about voting in off years. If I wasn't sick I probably would have gone with DH but I haven't stepped foot outside all day and I certainly wasn't going to go stand in line for an hour.

Yes, see my post in the morning about it... I took Alex with me. I'm happy to report that it looks like the PA senate and governor is going democrat, as I voted

I was planning on too, but with everything that happened with my Dad, I just forgot about it.
My DH voted though.

I was told yesterday at the polls that unless you opted out of it when you were filling out your marriage license paperwork your name would have been changed over. It is something that is automatically done when you fill out the marriage certificate.
At least that is what the people at my polling site was telling me, since I was unsure about what name I'd be under also since I am still a somewhat newlywed.

Re: Did you vote today?
Nope, never have. I am not even registered to vote. Although, now that I am older I think I am going to register and vote. In the past I didn't want to vote because I didn't pay attention to politics and I didn't want to make an uneducated decision. Now, I have a greater interest in politics and will be registering to vote.

When I went to vote yesterday, they had me under my maiden name. She gave me a form to fill out my maiden and my married name so it will be changed for next year and she was going to fill out the rest. I was able to vote with no problems whatsoever and she didn't ask me for any proof either

Re: Did you vote today?
Nope. I could have but if I know nothing about the candidates I think it would have been pointless.
I would have just gone straight across which isn't fair.

It's true--I wasn't sure which name they would have but the married name automatically changed over.
I voted...But I was a little sad to see I was the only person in my voting room at 6:30PM! It was me and like 20 workers..
Everyone I voted for won though, and I take full credit.
I know everyone has stuff going on, and we've all had years like that, but I've done by absentee years when I know I will be busy or unable to get to the polling station.
