Yup! In and out in under 5 minutes...

All my coworkers are jealous b/c they voted early the last few weeks and all of them waited at least 3 hours in line!!

ETA: and because I had my card from the board of elections that comes in the mail--i was able to bypass the check in line since it had my district # already on it--and i was in and out in 2 min

I voted absentee to NY a few weeks ago! Now I am just sitting here biting my nails waiting for results!

Imagine what they are both feeling today.

Not yet but my sister and I are going at 10am. Dh's registration got screwed up when we moved last year, so he can't vote today. Somehow he is no longer regustered... He voted in the last election, so I am not sure how it is possible.

Are you sure he's not registered? They screwed my registration up as well, but I was still able to vote at my former location.

They wouldn't cancel his registration if he was previously registered in NY. If he was OOS, that could be a bigger problem.

My DH had problems with his registration last year -- He was still able to vote at his new, correct polling place. He just had to do a paper ballot and fill out a form. Your DH should still

Ahh I will try this too! I never registered when I moved to Queens (b/c I'm stoooopid!!)...but maybe I could do this paper ballot too. What do I need to bring with me??

The only thing is he even called Queens county to see if he was still registered there and they are showing no record of his registration either. I guess I will tell him to go and try to cast a provisional ballot. It can't hurt. We both feel it is important to get out and vote.

Way too early for me... I'm a night voter.
I have to get up too early to get to work on time as it is... no time in the morning for anything extra- that's for sure!

How can I figure this out...

DH went online to see where we could vote and he says that it says Im not registered.

Could it be because we moved and I changed my last name? Would I then have to re-register? DH moved the same time as me, and he was registeredChat Icon

I shouldnt of waited until the last minute to check these things outChat Icon

Re: DID YOU VOTE TODAY? poll!

Nope, I went, but it was a 45 minute wait and I had a meeting I couldn't be late for this morning. So I may go around lunch time, or I'll just leave work a little earlier than normal.
