Different Lab Beta tests....
So I was poking around on here and I came accross some threads where some people mentioned that different labs can have different beta numbers.
I'm nervous now... because I went to a Quest in Manhattan on Monday... but tomorrow I'm going to a Quest in Queens. I have to go to a different Quest because I'm also having the insulin and glucose testing done for PCOS and they don't seem to all do that specific test.
So.... how much of a difference do you think the 2 quest labs will have in my results?? I'm nervous now.

Don't be nervous....I am sure everything will be OK. They are all testing for the same thing

Re: Different Lab Beta tests....
dont worry as long as you use the same brand of lab they tend to use the same diagnostics. i went to NYC quest for beta #1 and Dr. B's Long Island Quest for #2. the numbers came back normal.

ahhhh ok.
I was sort of thinking that... but the post from earlier this month talked about different labs having different sensitivity to the results.... and I have a Pregnant after Loss brain... so I get worried about odd things...
Thanks guys!!
