Re: Digital Camera Problem
I have an olympus C-740 and I remember one time I was totally going nuts cuz i thought the camera was frozen. It would turn on but the lens wouldn't move, nothing was working. then I noticed that on top of my camera is a button that rotates it to different features for how you want the camera to take pics, like for example if you are doing a portrait, or taking a pic where people are doing actions or regular auto, and so on and so on....so i had it on this feature that only displays pics it's square with a green arrow pointing to the right. And at the time there were no pics in my camera so i was flipping out until i noticed it was on this feature...duh! stupid me! and the best is that I always forget this so every time I have it on this feature and my doesnt make it's usual sound I flip out all over again....
Check all buttons and stuff on your camera, make sure it's not on any features like that....

Re: Digital Camera Problem
That happen to both my camera and FH's... both Sonys... however we had purchased the extended warranty from Best BUY and they fixed it... mine still acts up at time... I either tap the sides...or turn it off and on again...

Re: Digital Camera Problem
If all else fails red then take it back to the store where you got it. Check your warranty first.
You shouldn't be having this much trouble with a new camera...

Re: Digital Camera Problem
Red - what model? I have one and it works great. I would do a quick google search to see if someone has had similiar problems. Are these the rechargable batteries? Perhaps replacing them will do the trick?
