Digital Perm? Anybody try it yet?
I'm due for BKT/JHS, but been considering the Digital Perm. Just wondering if any of you girls have tried it yet or know someone first hand who has had it done and what you thought of the outcome?
(I'm not looking for "curly hair," more like big, loose waves like Gisele Bundchen.)

What exactly is it?
What makes it a "digital" perm vs a regular perm?

I'm not exactly certain, but I believe they use a solution that is or like the JHS treatment and the straighten the top portion of your hair and then hook you up to some contraption with curling rods that heats your hair. A regular perm uses a cold solution and standard rollers.

Wow I love that girl's results- but the contraption looks like some kind of electro shock therapy! 
I just wonder how damaging the solution is to the hair.
Very pretty though!

Hair IB has been doing it for a while. Many Korean salons have. I've known about it for a few years, but haven't known anyone who's actually done it. Usually I get the scoop from LIF girls first. It's kind of shocking that no one here has tried it yet.
I'm going to ask Hair IB about it, but I'm not sure if they can do the treatment on my hair due to previous JHS and coloring.

I looked into it a while ago and there were reviews that were not wonderful. It did not take on some people but it did damage. Not all reviews were bad but there were enough to convince me not to do it.
