Digitial Scale-????

I just went out and bought one because we didn't like the "regular" one. Well.....my kids weights are 2 pounds over BUT mine is 14 pounds over and my dh's is more than 20 pounds!!!
Is there anyway to calibrate this digital scale as there is no directions how to do so.

Re: Digitial Scale-????

Ummmmmmm - okay if the scale is on a hard flat surface it should it should set itself to zero every time you turn it on. Just tap it and it should say zero.

If you get off and on a few times and it's still off I would try returning it for a new one. I know that is a lot to be off - but are you sure it's not real?

Re: Digitial Scale-????

We have this same problem- our digital and our regular one are about 10 lb difference. I blame it on our heated floor Chat Icon .

I absolutley know that is not my real weight. I would have never fit into 2 pairs of size 8 pants I wore this week. I seems to be off 13 pounds this morning for both of us and 2 pounds for the kids.

Okay then maybe I would try returning it. The digital scales can be funny - they almost seem to give a number everytime you step on it. But if it is off by that much something must be wrong!

Re: Digitial Scale-????

my digital scale is 2% over the other scale we have. So for DS 2% of his weight and 2% of mine and 2% of DH's.
