Re: Dining Out

99.5% of the time Nope. We usually get an appetizer, then the salad that comes with dinner then the dinner. More than half the time I don't even get to finish my meal because I am so full!! I ALWAYS have a doggie bag going home!!!Chat Icon

Re: Dining Out

Now that I let myself have dessert, I'll leave some of my dinner to save room for dessert if there is something I really want.

Re: Dining Out

Not usually - more interested in an appetizer than dessert - usually too full for dessert.

Re: Dining Out

Depends on where I am.... if I'm somewhere that has really yummy dessert, then I will just not eat all of my dinner!

yes, I always try to, desert is the best part! I usually doggie bag my entree, so I have room for desert in my tummy Chat Icon

Re: Dining Out

depends on where we are eating....if the desserts look good.

Applebee's we ALWAYS get boneless wings...their desserts aren't the greatest.

Fridays though has the Oreo Explosion dessert which I die for! MMMM

If I know the dessert is good before I go then I would definitely eat a smaller dinner. Generally, no we do not eat dessert at restaurants.

Has anyone had that Blondie from Apple bees or the chocolate volcano from chilis? That is reason to skip dinner ; )

No, hardly ever, we are so pressed for time, we eat and run.

However, if we are celebrating an anniverary or a birthday or other special occasion, then yes, dessert is a must!

Re: Dining Out

I rarely get dessert. I love dessert but either I am too full or don't want to eat something by myself. If DH will split it, then we'll order something.

edited for spelling

Re: Dining Out

If it's a special dinner I get dessert, but if we're just going out for the heck of it or to a diner I usually don't. I usually cut my dinner in half before I even eat it, so I usually have SOME room for dessert!
