Dining room set - did you get the arm chairs?
When I was at Raymour & Flanigan and I put my order on hold, I asked for 6 chairs to go with the table, not just 4. He assumed the other two were to be arm chairs. He said that's most common.
Is anyone else not a fan of arm chairs? Or do they really come in handy?
Who has arm chairs? Who doesn't?

I will not be getting arm chairs when we order a new dining set...they just irk me for some reason.

We have 2 arm chairs and 8 side chairs.
I don't like arm chairs when the chair itself is on the small side, but iif the chair is of substantial size, I don't mind them.
And I think some dining sets look best without arm chairs. It just depends on the style/look you're going for.

Yes. They really look nice on the ends, or if you want to place them in corners of the room. I say get them.

My husband had our DR set before we got married so i didnt get much of a choice, but we do have the arm chairs. i put them on either side of the china cabinet when we arent using them and they actually look nice there.
I love the look of bigger arm chairs in a different fabric....

We have Eight chairs with no arms. Our space is on the smaller side and it's open to the kitchen and LR, so we went with no arms. We are going for the less formal look. We love it.
