Dinner For A Snowy Night.
Anyone got some amazing, delicious things heating up on this cooollldd evening?
We're doing a camping theme. We put the sleeping bags in front of the fireplace and we're gonna sit in there and eat dogs and burgers with green bean salad, chips, grape soda and watermelon. Then we will have s'mores for dessert and tell spooooooooky ghost stories.
But I'm CRAVING comfort foods.. chicken stew, mac and cheese..

No ideas because I'm doing a pasta dish I picked up at Costco the other day.
I really just want to say that you and your DH sound like totally awesome parents!

You guys are awesome!!!! That is so cool! I am making chili. DH had a choice, either that or beef stew, or meatloaf. He wanted a nice hearty chili!!!

Can I come to your house...that sounds like fun. I made sausage, peppers, onions and sweet potatoes. Danielle is making a big salad with marinated mushrooms, olives, roasted peppers and fresh mozzarella

Re: Dinner For A Snowy Night.
the camping theme is such a fun idea. Too cute. I'm going to have to remember that for when I have kids. I made steak which I'm pretty new to but I have to say it came out pretty darn good

Re: Dinner For A Snowy Night.
We made a Rachael Ray recipe, Saucy Shredded Chicken Sammies. We cheated and used bottled bbq sauce instead of our own. As a side we had a mixture of fries and onion rings and pickles!

Re: Dinner For A Snowy Night.
I made turkey meatloaf, corn casserole & roasted broccoli & parsnips. It was so good, and nice & hearty for a cold night.
