Re: Dirty clothes- Where do you place them?
We have 1 basket that's in the laundry room and I throw it in there. Towels too. When it comes time to laundry, I sort through it.
We will have 2 baskets in laundry (clothes and towels) as soon as I go and buy it.  I keep forgetting.

We have a hamper in the bedroom, but I don't think DH knows what its for since his clothes are on the floor next to it  
WE also have hampers in each kids room in thier closet and one in the hall bathroom (a built into the vanity one).

DH and I put our clothes in a hamper in the bathroom, and DS has a hamper in his closet in his bdrm. When they get full or close to full, its laundry time.

I KNOW!!! We both have our own. Mine actually has dirty clothes in it.

I use the hamper in the bathroom and DH has a laundry basket in his closet b/c he couldn't make it to the bathroom, LOL.

DS's clothes and my clothes go into the hampers in our respective bedrooms.
DH's clothes go on TOP of the hamper in our bedroom How freakin hard is it to open a lid??

Everybody has their own hamper in their room. Then once a week I gather it all and put it in huge laundry baskets in the laundry room in our basement.
Eventually I even get around to washing them.

we throw ours down the stairs into the basement, then we bring over to the washer when we make another purposeful trip to the basement.
pretty gross, huh?

we have this:

right now it's in the open since the washer/dryer is on the first floor of the house but when we move it will be in the basement with the washer and dryer.
each bag holds a full load of clothes, maybe a bit more. which is good because it forces me to do laundry more often!
We have something similiar to the above, in our laudry room and we also have a small hamper in our bedroom closet for when we are too lazy to walk downstairs :0

We have a hamper in our bedroom closet and I just bought one for when the baby comes for her room...
My main issue is what to do with DH's work clothes (concrete construction so yeah really dirty)..he currently throws them on the FLOOR in front of the washing machine in the basement! at least he does his own gross work clothes laundry!

Our hamper is on the landing in the stairwell going down to our basement.
My parents have a laundry chute and they love it. All the laundry lands right next to the washer.

This is what we have and i LOVE it. The chute is hidden in the bathroom closet and it drops down right next to the washer in the unfinished part of our basement. I have a hamper down there to catch it.
