Disappointing first follie scan

I'm so frustrated! I've got a full AF now, which could be good or bad at this point. I just had my first scan after 4 days of stims. Multiple follicles on the left and the right under 8mm. RE said I may not be absorbing the medication because of my weight (He's always got a comment about that). I'm on the max dosage of Repronex. He said we'll see what the blood work shows. I asked him about the multiple follicles and isn't that promising and he responded that they're there, but might not be responding. But they weren't there 4 days ago at my baseline! Would they be there if I wasn't stimming? (I didn't ask him that q--slapping myself for that!)

I know my E2 will be low too, b/c I just started a full bleed yesterday after a few days of spotting.

Anyone have experience with this?

Hang in there! Multiple follies is the key thing! It was only your first scan there is plenty of time for them to grow!!

It's still very early. You really onlly just started to Stim. My first IVF, my first scan, I had 2 less than 10mm on my right and 6 less than 10mm on my left.

My second I had 5 less then 10 and ended up with 3 times as many eggs retrieved on ER day then I did my 1st time around.

Thanks girls...hearing this is encouraging. I just wish I would stop bleeding already.
