DISGUSTED!!! WHO talks on the cell phone in a public bathroom???
So I was in a government buildning today in Jersey City, NJ.
I went to the bathroom to pee.
There was a lady in the next stall talking very loud. I THOUGHT she was talking to someone in the NEXT stall cause I heard "flush".
Then the lady kept on talking. I flush.
She keeps talking. She flushes.
Came out, YAPPING on the cell phone. At least she washed the ONE hand she wasn't holding the cell ohone with.
WHO DOES THAT?????????

Unfortunately, I have overheard a few people doing this in my office building. Thankfully, none of them were my colleagues but members of the public !!! One lady must have just made a call because she was saying, Hello, Hello, and I answered her because I thought she was talking to me!!

The ladies room at my work is TINY! Once I walked in there and a woman was on the phone and I just looked at her before going in the stall. She had no idea that it was so gross to do that

Personally I am a private cell person.
If I am in the supermarket or getting a pedi or whatever I either pick up and say can I call you back or wait until I am in my car or home....I don't like the whole world hearing my convo 
But, I see MANY people chat away anywhere and everywhere...I think it is a preference doesn't bother me one way or the other really.

*I* could never do that. I don't think I would be able to do what I have to do with fear of the person hearing. No way in heck could I flush and let them hear that. Especially business.

you're a disgusting excuse for a human being!
  lol I should probably add that I don't sit there and talk while im doing my business or in someone's ear as they are doing theirs! After I posted, I realized the point of the grossness. I do go in there and occupy it for a call just bc it's private. I don't give the person on the other end a surprise!

This is one of my biggest pet peeves! In my office building, three companies share the bathrooms and someone does this often. I make a point to flush the toilet several times when she does it because I just find it disgusting and I really don't want to hear her conversation.

I dont think it's that big of a deal....however I do think it calls for putting the phone down for a moment and washing both hands!!!!!

This is me. I don't want people to hear my conversations, nor do people want to hear my conversations. So I always pick up & quickly say I'll call back when I get back in my car or home.

Would it make a difference if they were just standing in the stall and having their conversation but not actually using the facilities?
I personally don't care what people are doing in there. I would never take a professional/business call. But if I got a call from DH or one of my closer friends who wouldn't be offended (or think I'm "disgusting"), I'd probably take the call.
