Dishwasher making a grating noise
Great...it's not quiet 2 years old. What on earth could this noise be?

Look on the bottom of the dishwasher...is there anything stuck in there?
Sometimes I will have a piece of silverware or tupperware lid fall...

Check out this site:

My SIL told me about it, she fixed something with her washing machine by getting the help on the site. I also had a dishwasher problem and DH fixed it by reading this as well. It's really informative. We had a grating sound too, he had to remove a bunch of parts to get to the one he needed to clear but he fixed it.
