Disney - Stroller question
What kind if stroller would you bring to Disney? We will have a 4 year old and 9 month old. I don't want to rent a stroller because I want one at the airport if we need. Do you think a double umbrella stroller would be good fir both of them?

Re: Disney - Stroller question
Only if you have one that reclines. The 9 month will probably nap while you are at the parks...Definitely bring something for both of them...My friends use to bring their graco stroller for the little one and an umbrella stroller for their 4 year old. They would fold the umbrella stroller up and put it on the regular stroller...

Re: Disney - Stroller question
Thats what I was going to say..when my kids were around the same age I used my regular peg perego stroller for the baby and a cheap umbrella stroller for the older one. It works better that way the parents can split up if they need too.

Re: Disney - Stroller question
We just went last week with mt 4.5 year old and my 9 mos old. I brought the stroller from my travel system. It worked out beautifully. DS walked most of the time (he occasionally took a ride in the stroller and DH carried him home a couple times), but it was a great place for DD to nap and even to have her diaper changed occasionally.

Re: Disney - Stroller question
What strollers do you have? The umbrella would be good for the 4 year old - but what about your 9 month old? Does it have a really good canopy? What about recline? Storage?
I brought my city mini double and LOVED it. Easy for DD#1 to hop in and out of it, my DD#2 turned 1 on the trip - she slept a lot in it so it was SO worth having. Also the extra storage space was really helpful - when you bring snacks, diapers, changes of clothes, etc.
Also in the sun (we went in May) having the big canopy was nice b.c the sun got really hot and the girls could escape some of it. Even DD#1 pulled her canopy down several times.
