Disney and Spring break
I need to get away for a long weekend. Is there any way to find out when schools have spring break so we can avoid all of that?
Is there a low time in the spring?
We went the first week of June once and the crowds weren't so bad (except for weekends), but the heat was killler.
Or do I have to wait for October?

Re: Disney and Spring break
Spring Break is April 19th-27th, my husband and I booked a trip a week before and we got pretty good deals, on Delta.

WHat about colleges though?
My nephews were last week.
I think if you try for the next couple of weekends, it won't be too bad

Re: Disney and Spring break
I have been there in early/mid May and the crowds were pretty managable.

Most of the districts around me (VA) have SB this week or next week.

Re: Disney and Spring break
Cool.My birthday is coming up and I am hinting at FH. We have annual passes, so we might as well get as much use out of them as possible. the only problem is we probably missed the AP rates.

Re: Disney and Spring break
4 years ago we were at WDW for our honeymoon 4/26-5/3 - the crowds were actually really good - we had very little waits on major rides - we expected a lot more people than we saw. What about the beginning of May?

Re: Disney and Spring break
I agree with u to avoid early June. The weather is hit or miss. We had gone in early June once and it was in the mid 90's the whole time. YUCK.
DH and I are going in the beginning of May...actually we're going for Mother's Day!
Since the end of April is spring break for some, I think May is your best bet. Just not too late -- stay clear away from Memorial Day weekend!!
Have FUN!

Re: Disney and Spring break
Spring Break was the worst time we have ever gone. The place was PACKED!!! I knew about 5 other people who also went at the same time (even though we didn't see them).
