disney for pregnant women? can you ride rollar coasters?

i've been wanting to go to disney with my bestfriend and our dhs.

im sorry if this seems like a dumb obvious question but can you ride a rollar coaster when you are pregnant?
obviously, when you are in the 3rd trimester, im sure it is physically impossible but what about when you are in your 2nd trimeter?

besides kiddie rides, will i find lots of rides to go on for adults in disney or will my options be very limited?

TIA!

Your options are definitely limited. Most of the rides have warnings on them for pregnant women.

I have heard that you can ride Dumbo and rides like that. We are supposed to go for Halloween this year. I hope I can fit in the ride by thenChat Icon

Actually there are quite a few rides you can go on pregnant - but I'm afraid a lot of the more exciting ones have restrictions - you should talk to your OB about what he/she is comfortable with - basically avoid roller coasters, centrifical force type rides and anything too jerky.

Check out this site they have some suggestions on what to avoid and what you can ride and other general tips:

Pregnancy tips for WDW

Also in the unofficial guide there is a section where a mom weighs in on her experience and why you can't ride certain things.

I went in the beginning of May and I was 12 weeks. I felt kind of limited, as many of the rides have restrictions. They say it is at your own risk, but it wasn't worth the risk to me...even on some of the rides that I have been on dozens of time before that in my mind are tame.

I still went to a lot of the interactive things and the shows, but found myself sitting on a bench a lot waiting for DH and my friends. Had we not planned the trip before I got pregnant, I probably would have passed.

I just went on the website and couldn't find it, but I remember them having a whole page dedicated to pregnant women at Disney. There was a list of rides that was off-limits and a map of bathrooms, benches to sit down and water fountains.

Sorry I couldn't find it!

I just got back from Disney 2 weeks ago and I was 24 1/2 weeks when we got there. No, you can't go on any roller coasters. All of the signs say "expectant mother's should not ride" I couldn't even go on the Safari. There are a lot of rides you CAN go on, but you can't go on Rockin Roller Coaster, Test Track, Mission Space, Runaway Train, etc. You CAN, however, go on Soarin. I went on it 3 times.

FM me if you want more info.
