Re: DISNEY HOTELS
i stayed at the PO french quarter and Coronado springs..
i loved them both.. but i think ill have to go with Coronado.. its a very quiet hotel.. if thats what you are looking for.
PO french quarter is a smaller resort and has more of a romantic feel to it.

Re: DISNEY HOTELS
Personally, DH and I prefer PO Riverside over the French Quarter. There is more to do at Riverside - and they have a much better food court!
Coronado Springs is quiet, but also geared towards a Business Conference Ctr. You'll find less to do around the hotel and see many more people in suits and such.
Haven't been to Caribbean, but heard good things.
HTH!

Re: DISNEY HOTELS
I have never been to Coronado Springs but heard nice things about it.
Port Orleans FQ - is a smaller and very quaint resort. It's the first stop on the bus run from the parks & PO FQ & Riverside. The pool here will be closed from the end of January to the middle of March for rehab.
They have a nice boatride to downtown disney and is walking distance to RIverside where ammenites are shared. The only drawback I can think of here is the lack of table service restaurant but the proximity to Riverside & DTD kind of cancels that out.
Caribbean Beach is GIGANTIC so unless you are in a preferred room near the food court/mail pool it can be a bit annoying. The main pool is undergoing a major rehab this year and will be closed until mid-Sept. They have a really cool market place and the food court is stationed very well with a lot of variety!
In both hotels, the rooms are spacious and the resorts are well themed.

Re: DISNEY HOTELS
Just came back from staying at the Carribean Beach. I wasn't all that impressed with it. The amenities were nice--the main pool is gorgeous. The rentals on the beach are well priced and very fun but our room was ehhh. I had to request a room change because our carpet was filthy. My parents stayed 2 doors down and thought the same. It was ehh.

Re: DISNEY HOTELS
I have stayed at Carribean Beach and Port Orleans French Quarter. At the time, I liked the Carribean Beach, but have since stayed at nicer hotels. Didn't like FQ much at all. We probably would have been better off at Riverside.
