Disney itinerary. Please help!
Hi. I would love some advice on planning our 2 day trip to Disney. I have twin 4 1/2 year olds and am trying to get in as much as possible in two days, with also trying to squeeze in some down time. My biggest concern is the traveling in between and kids getting burnt out. Reserving times was very hard. Nothing was available at a normal time. Please take a look at this schedule and tell me all of the do's and dont's. Any recommendations on making things as smooth as possible. Keep in mind I did this yesterday and it's very preliminary. On 3/1. Arrive at airport at 2:00pm. Arrive at wilderness lodge resort. Dinner @ 1900 park fare restaurant at grand Floridian at 8:05pm. Characters are princesses.
On 3/2. 8:10am, Breakfast at ohana at Polynesian hotel. Characters Mickey and Pluto. Take monorail to magic kingdom. At 11:45am, lunch at crystal palace, characters are Winnie the Pooh. At 3:55pm, early dinner at cinderellas castle. After dinner, back to hotel.
On 3/3, go to Hollywood studios. At 8:10, breakfast at Hollywood and vine. Characters handy manny, oso. Walk around/see some attractions until about 11:00am. Go back to hotel. At 3:30 pm dinner at Hollywood brown derby and fantastic show at 7:00pm

Your MK day, Honestly, I would skip the lunch unless your kids LOVE LOVE pooh. First in my one experience with Crystal palace (and what I have read) even with reservations, they are often behind schedule. Also Ohana is all you can eat, so you probably wont even be hungry at 12. Also by having lunch at 12 you are limiting your time in the park. You probably wont even get in to MK gates until 10.
I would just pick up some quick service lunch throughout the day. Plus you have an early dinner that day so lunch is probably not necessary at all. Just pack some snacks, grab an ice cream and enjoy more of the park.
I didnt love HS so I dont know much about there, But with only 2 days and (I am guessing) this is your DC first time there. I would just do do days ag MK. Its where the most magic if for that age range. IMO
ETA: This last tiem we went to Disney, we had 3 park days. DH & I love epcot so we did that the first day, then MK, then I left it up to my DS (5yo at the time) on where he wanted to go the 3rd day (THis was his 3rd DIsney trip) and he chose MK again and hoenstly I am happy bc I had planned AK but having that extra day at MK I felt like we actually saw alot and enjoyed the park bc we werent rushing!

We loved Hollywood Studios but, for that short of a visit, I'd stick with just MK. Since they are so young, they don't know what they are missing... And the MK was DS' favorite by far.
I wouldn't do breakfast, lunch and dinner on the MK day - that seems like a lot, and the meals are buffet so you are bound to not be quite that hungry at lunch. Especially having an early dinner. I'd do a quick service lunch instead or pack snacks.

ITA!
We did 2 charecter meals in the 6 days we went to Disney and we were perfectly happy with that. I would've been fine with 1 in 2 days. The first day we got to MK we got there early and went on about 11 rides, saw the fireworks and brought in our own lunch. We had breakfast at the timeshare and brought food to the park. Ate at one of those fast food restaurants in the park for dinner. We would've been totally satisfied if that's all the time we did there bc it was so much fun and went on so many rides.

Definitely way too much. Dump 1900 park fair it is not princesses it is Cinderella, the prince, step mother and sisters. You do not need it if you are doing CRT.
Ohana is also Lelo and stitch. I would dump either that or CP unless your kids like pooh. You will lose 1-2 hrs with each meal. Valuable park time.

Thanks everyone. I reserved most of the character dinners with intentions of canceling some. I just wanted to reserve what I could since there were very few time slots left. I am definitely canceling crystal palace. Just heard to eat there, but my kids could care less about pooh lol. Also, at ohana they told me Mickey and Pluto along with Lelo and stitch would be there, is this correct?

This is correct but just wanted to add it wasn't just Mickey and Pluto.
My kids don't love pooh but enjoyed CP but cutting would make it easier. Honestly though....I would keep a lunch but dump the breakfast bc you will want to be at rope drop when lines are shortest. Lunch in the park is a nice downtime. Just something to think about.

See while I agree with her the Ohana breakfast is late and she will get to the parks after it is crowded. Maybe try for an earlier Ohana and cancel. CP.

Disney itinerary. Please help!
I would skip 1900 Park Fare and go directly to the Magic Kingdom. There are dinners open for Crystal Palace, Liberty Tavern or just go to a quick serve.
The first full day I would leave the breakfast because I heard it was pretty good but I would skip lunch altogether. Your eating dinner at 4:00 pm. Just pick up a snack around 11ish.
Hollywood Studios is not one of my favorite parks at all and definitely does not need a full day especially with little ones. A lot of the rides there they will find boring. I would either do the morning in Magic Kingdom again in the morning or do Animal Kingdom in the morning and then go to HS for the evening.

I agree with the other girls.
I would get to the park about 30 minutes before rope drop to be in the park at the opening. So have a quick breakfast in your room.
I would make a reservation for both kids at the bibbidy bobbidy boutique. Knight package is $15 for a boy and it is the best kept secret. All the cast members will treat your kids so nicely. Bring a dress from home to cut down on the cost for DD. Ask to add the picture package onto the hair and nails package to cut down on the cost.
I would do one day at MK and a morning at Animal Kingdom and a the afternoon at Typhoon lagoon or the afternoon at Epicot.

I would see about adding in park for first evening. You might be able to get on a few rides from your list that first evening.
I would cut out the crystal palace lunch, we aren't a fan of the food there and like others said too many character meals in one day.
HS is one of our favorite parks, I think lots for young kids to enjoy. Not sure of their heights or thrill level but my 5 yo went on Tower of Terror which was highlight of our trip for her. We also caught Beauty and Beast show, little mermaid show, Disney Jr. show, toy story ride, and Indiana Jones Show.
