Disney Magical Express with little kids
I will be going to Disney with DH's family in September. I will have a 3 month old and SIL will have her 4 year old. Do we need carseats for the Disney Magical Express bus to the resort?
This will be DH and my first Disney trip with kids. I don't remember seeing kids in carseats on the bus, but I may not have been paying attention...

I think it's totally up to you, but I've NEVER seen kids in car seats, weird right!

I think that's why I am questioning it. It doesn't make any sene that there are all these kids on a bus with no car seats.
It's not like the trip is 5 minutes either!

Never seen carseats on the magical express - I've taken it with my kids when they were 11 months, 1, & 2 - never a carseat.

Ok, so I went to the WDW website. I figured they would have something on there.
I am answering my own question...
From the FAQ section of the WDW reservation website:
Are car seats and pets permitted on the Disney Magical Express motor coaches?
No. Car seats must be stowed underneath the motor coach. (Children can sit on an adult's lap or occupy their own seat.)
Who knew!

They do not allow car seats on the ME bus. They will put your seat under the bus.

i am actually excited...I wont need to lug the two seats on this trip at all bec we will be using the ME and then the buses to go to the parks..no rental car =)))
I don't think it is too weird bec it is not like we use them on the public buses up here KWIM!?!?!

There are no seat belts so it;d be hard to keep the seats from flying around in case something happened :\

BTW we are doing this really soon if you have questions FM me and I will try to check anything out that I can - I'm going with an almost 3 year old (will be 3 on father's day) and my DD#2 will be turning 1 on the trip.

No carseat and no stroller in the ME buses. They all go in the storage area under the bus.
We just came back 2 weeks ago.
You can either seat the children on a seat on they can seat on your lap. You CANNOT stand in the bus while in operation either. So you cannot seat 2 kids and stand in the aisle.
On a side note, you can put you diaper bag on an overhead storage above the seats. But they don't take those wheeled carry on. Too big. Just diaper bag/small backpack type bags.
