Disney On Ice Celebrations - Review (with pics)
I know MANY of us are going....so i wanted to give a review!
in a word - WHOA!!!! I have been to 2 other Disney on Ice productions (toy story & the little mermaid - both MANY years ago) and I had a nice time. well, when you go with children - it's a BEAUTIFUL experience!!!! This was our first 'event' with Emma and we also went with dave's sister and her children.
I cannot say enough about this show....the kids were losing it from the FIRST skater to come out, right until the end!
EVERYONE is in the show - Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, ALL of the princesses, even the villians have their part! The sets are STUNNINGLY beautiful (there was a lit up cherry tree that i took about 10 pics of it was so pretty)...
I won't spoil for anyone who prefers to be surprised, but my favorite part involved FIRE!!! Yes - FIRE on ice!
The kids were OVER THE MOON and i have to be honest - i was smitten. The characters all waved at everyone and even paused during songs (not the main characters) to pose for pics when on the sides. It was incredible and the magic was contageous. I'm STILL singing Disney songs in my head today and i'm so happy we went!
Emma was awake for about 70% of it and she was completely and utterly GIDDY!!!!!!! She was giggling, laughing and STARING at the lights and the screen (there's a screen at the back of the 'stage').
I never thought i'd be the mom to be like, we MUST go to every one of these shows, but, wow - WE MUST...it was soooooooooooo fun!!!!
