Disney World & Dining Reservations
We're going to DW in 6 weeks and all the character dining is booked. Breakfast, lunch, dinner. Even when I switch around the dates. We're NOT going during a holiday or school break.
Can we just show up and get a table like a regular restaurant?

It depends on the characters.....Chef Mickey's you can usually get in if you arrive as they open for dinner. Keep checking the website for cancellations.

Not usually for those reservations. Do you have the My Disney Experience app? If so, use that to keep checking, especially after you arrive. Those reservations start filling up 6 months out. Good luck and have a great vacation!

I used the app too, checked several times a day. I would book a 9:30pm res. Then a few days later a 9pm one would open and i would take that. I finally got down to 6:30 and 7 reservations.

Re: Disney World & Dining Reservations
We went at a very low crowd time in mid September. We were able to wait maybe 20 minutes and have lunch at Crystal Palace with Pooh, Eyore, Tigger, etc, so it can be doable. I also advise to keep checking for reservations to open.

I agree, the app is great for this. I would keep checking while you are there! It can be difficult at any time of year to get into certain character meals, unfortunately.
