Disney...how much does everyone pay
We were thinking of going this summer. DD will be about 1.
What is a resonable price for 4 nights at disney htoel (not the value hotel) either moderate or deluxe
We have gone before when we were dating and paid honestly...whatever price we got.
But now with a kid I dont want to get a bad price or pay more than i should.
What does everyone pay.
Air and room.

Re: Disney...how much does everyone pay
The answer totally depends on when you take your vacation, as Disney divides the year into "seasons" that have varying room rates. It also depends on how many days you want your theme park tickets to be good for, and what options (if any) you want to add on.
Value season, when Disney resort room rates are at thier lowest level of the year, actually is in effect multiple times during the calendar year. For summer 2010, value season is from July 18 - September 30 for Deluxe resorts, and August 15 - September 30 for moderate resorts. There are 4 moderate resorts and all have comparable pricing. The deluxe resorts however can have a broad range of pricing depending on the resort itself and the room type.
For instance, just a basic package that includes a 4-night stay and 4-day base theme park tickets will for a little over $1200 in a standard room at a moderate resort. This price comes directly off the Disney site, and since Disney does not allow 3rd parties to discount thier packages, this is pretty much what you are going to pay (unless Disney offers some kiind of deal themselves).
I would definitely seek out the advice of a Disney travel agent to help guide you through the process of finding the best fit for you and your family. The less stress the better and you normally will get extra services that booking through Disney will not provide.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask!

Re: Disney...how much does everyone pay
It really depends. Air is usually pretty cheap via Southwest or JetBlue.
I would go via the Disney web site and price some packages (I assume you need at least tickets too?). Then go to a travel agent and see what their price is. Sometimes you can get some freebies through them.
It really depends on the time of year you go and how many days you stay and the hotel level.

I would contact Magical Journeys to help you price out your vacation. They are certified Disney planners and will keep on top of discounts so you get the best deal possible.

Re: Disney...how much does everyone pay
I had a friend who just got a quote for The Floridian in the summer for one room, two adults, 2 children w/tickets and the meal plan for 3 days/2 nights over $2K.
This did not include airfare.
