Thanks!

Re: Disney....Ohana question.
We like breakfast since it's a character breakfast. It's a lot of fun.

Dinner was delicious! We still talk about it.
We think of it as, you can get breakfast made the same way, anywhere. Eggs are eggs, bacon is bacon etc.

Re: Disney....Ohana question.
We have only been to breakfast but its wonderful! love hte characters (mickey, lilo, stitch, pluto), they take a pic you can purchse and the food is really good. Plus the papaya juice is AMAZING!!!! My 2yo couldnt get enough of it this past trip!
We usually go to breakfast, park there and then hop the monorail to the parks. If you dont do breakfast there, I would also suggest Cape May Cafe at Beach Club, also character, a buffet but it was one of the best IMO. YOu can also walk to Epcot from there.

This. Dinner is just awesome, unlike where you can get anywhere else.
Here is the menu...all you can eat.... Starters: Pork fried dumplings, Corriander chicken wings, and Mixed Greens with Honey-Lime dressing. Skewers (prepared over an oak fire): Marinated sirloin steak, Asian BBQ pork loin, Mesquite grilled turkey, and non-peeled shrimp. Accompaniments: broccoli and green peas and pad Thai noodles. Sauces: peanut, chimichurri and sweet-and-sour. Dessert: 'Ohana bread pudding a la mode with Banana Foster sauce. Includes coffee, tea and soda. prices vary 15.00-35.99
I want to eat here NOW!!!

Re: Disney....Ohana question.
O'Hana's character breakfast with Lilo, Stitch and Friends has become a yummy tradition for my family. We love the Breakfast there!
However, dinner is a great experience too with all the Hawaiian yummies they offer.
If your traveling with children, I would personally highly suggest breakfast over dinner.
Wishing you a Pixie-Dust Vacation!

Re: Disney....Ohana question.
We really enjoyed the breakfast but we did not do the dinner so I cannot compare. The boys loved the parade and we all ate very well. I personally loved the pineapple bread they served but I have a bit of an obsession with anything pineapple. I don't think my DH thought it was anything special.
I got dole pineapple whip everyday at the Polynesian! Another thing DH did not appreciate.

Re: Disney....Ohana question.
didnt do breakfast
but did the dinner and it was our favorite dinner the whole week we were down there! (it wasnt a character meal if that is what you are looking for...but it DID have entertainment - a woman did a parade with the kids with leis and maracas and taught them to hula! We had a lot of fun!)

Re: Disney....Ohana question.
Ohana dinner was one of the best meals we had in Disney. We traveled with a big group and a lot of kids varying from infant-age 7. They all ate well and enjoyed the parade and atmosphere. Highly recommend going!

Disney....Ohana question.
I have never eaten breakfast there, but WOW is the dinner amazing!!! The food was soooo good and they were amazing about my food allergies and the food allergies of the 3 year old we were traveling with. Some of the best food I've eaten at Disney and if you eat at the right time you get a great view of Wishes!

Oh really? I guess that's why I was able to get a breakfast reservation, but not dinner
I guess they all have good/bad days, because I'm the only person who hated Chef Mickeys.
What breakfast places would you recommend?
We were looking into Cape May too.

I did not hate chef mickeys but I was not impressed at all. I was annoyed that we had to wait 20 minutes after our reservation time to get seated. the food was mediocre. the only food we really enjoyed was the mickey waffles. they were fresh and delicious. we got seconds of those but you can get them anywhere.
I've accepted you are simply paying for the characters and that is that.
We plan to stay at beach club next and do the character breakfast at cape may. I personally probably would not go out of my way to go there.

I guess "hated" was strong. Lol. I completely agree with you on everything from the wait to eh food and waffles being good but can get them anywhere.
Thanks for the Cape May tip.
I was annoyed the whole thing took so long (we could have been in the park earlier), rushed character interaction, not good food and cost $100 for three of us.

Disney....Ohana question.
We disliked Crystal Palace where everyone raves! We went for dinner, had terrible food, horrible service and barely saw the characters.
