Displaying China

Hi Ladies,
My name is Melina, I'm new to this lovely board! I am having some difficulty figuring out how to display my china in my china hutch. I would like to display them standing up like they do in macys and bb&b, but I can't find the display stands anywhere. Would you ladies mind posting how you displayed yours? And also, where could I find the display stands? Thanks!!

You know, I alway wanted to know, too!

I hate when I go in and see the wooden display things and there is always a sign on them that says "not for sale."

I am going to look online, and if I find any, I will post them here for you.

here are some

Michael's and Bed Bath and Beyond sell the plate stands. I think Michael's is definitely cheaper though.

I don't have any stand.... I have a slot or groove on the back of each shelf that I place the plate on, standing up, and then it sits in that groove and rests on the back of the cabinet. Then I place the salad plate, the bread plate, the saucer and teacup in front of the "standing" plate.

I know I posted a picture of it many years ago, I wonder if I could search to find it Chat Icon

found it! see the last topic/post in the related topics below

Re: Displaying China

My china cabinet has some slots, and then to display a whole place setting I bought the stands at Bed Bath and Beyond.
