Distressed Paint
Has anyone ever tried to do a distressed type of painting? Is it a type of paint you buy or a process of different steps?
Here is an example of what I'm looking to do:

Re: Distressed Paint
You have to paint the piece of furniture and then sand down the bits that you want to look distressed, Its a no lose thing because you can repaint it if you don't like it! Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy!

I've done it... it looks better if you have two layers of paint. We painted a dresser white, and then on top of it we painted a country blue and I spent a few hours sanding down the corners so the white came through a little... it came out really nice

Or you can do it the opposite way with the blue underneath and white on top-or any other colors. You can also do a search for this on google and you will get specific instructions.
