DIY Question -
Does anyone have any experience cutting/laying a vinyl floor ? - Our kitchen floor is awful, I want to replace it, but we're not ready to gut the entire kitchen, so I'd hate to lay tile and then have to break it up later on if it doesn't 'go' with out ultimate design for the future kitchen I want to just replace the vinyl for now and freshen it up ........It SEEMS pretty simple, but I don't know .......... Any ideas ? TIA !!

Re: DIY Question -
We used self stick vinyl tiles and were very happy with them. It took DH a couple of hours to lay/cut them all.

Re: DIY Question -
DH and I layed the stick vinyl tile floors in our LR of our apartment. It was really very easy. We bought them at National Wholesale liquidators pretty cheap...

Re: DIY Question -
for a temporary fix to a small mud area in our kitchen we used the peel and stick tile things too. We are very pleased with tehm. Easy to clean, holding up well, and inexpensive, and they look good.
Good Luck.
We got them at Home Depot!

Re: DIY Question -
the vinyl tiles are so much easier to lay than the whole sheet.
