Do babies grow out of reflux?
As their digestive systems mature, do they problems typically correct themselves? Or is this something that they will have to deal with as toddlers and as they grow?

It may depend on the severity of it. Mason has it very slight. Was worse a few months ago and now I don't even notice. I think he digestive system just had to mature.

Yes, they do grow out of it....
No amount of meds, burping or formula changes totally helped DS.......except time.......at around 9 months I was finally able to see his clothes because they weren't covered by a bib!!!!!

Ugh - he has the cutest clothes and I keep buying the cutest outfits and then I  my eyes at myself because they're just all going to be covered up by a bib!!!

My son grew out of it by the time he was 4 months or so. He still had a sensitive tummy for a few months but his reflux was mostly gone.

i believe so. DS has been a different kid since he hit the 3 month mark. no back arching when eating; spits up a little here and there, but nothing terrible.
i dont even use the zantac anymore.

We discontinued DD's Axid at 6 months and she's totally fine.

DS wore a bib 24/7 b/c he'd spit up hours after a feeding. We were both constantly covered in spit up.  He outgrew the reflux by 7-8 months. I don't know if it was the solids that helped or the fact that his digestive system matured.

DS still has it at almost 5 months but it is showing signs of getting better. I hope it goes away soon because the medicine costs me $94 a month!

Yes. Ann did. She did not have a severe case but was on Axid for a while and as time went on, she had less issues and she was given less Axid until I just stopped it.

DS was diagnosed at a couple weeks old and outgrew his by 8 or 9 months. DD was diagnosed at 4 months and hasn't outgrown it yet (she's only 6 months now).
