Re: Do babies have quiet days?
Well I have been really active today so I haven't felt either of my babies move much today.. if I was sitting and just relaxing all day I would feel them more.. so for me I know that I am not worried because I must rock them to sleep when I am moving around alot.. that being said.. my paper work from my dr says that if you don't feel the babies for more than an hour and than try something like oj and still don't feel them to contact them immediately.

If I had to call the doctor every hour she didnt move he would be going nuts. I have read the baby is most active when we are sleeping, and our movements during the day puts the baby to sleep. And there are active and non active days. It varies. Dont stress.

Hmmm, I wonder what it was....my was very quiet today too. I feel her right now so no worries but remember...it's getting awfully tight in there for them.

Funny you say this. I feel most movements at night when I wind down, so you may be right...

Re: Do babies have quiet days?
I'm only at the flutter stage, but I had been feeling a lot of flutters every day for the past week. Yesterday, I didn't really feel anything and was kind of nervous. I wonder if the baby moved into a position where I couldn't really feel flutters as easily. Today, I'm feeling them again, but in a slightly different area. I think it's normal.

Re: Do babies have quiet days?
i hate quiet days I'm always saying "give a good roll and kick session at least once a day"
It freaks me out so bad (im 32weeks) that I asked the doc.. and he said if it went two straight days with no movement at all, then I could call in and make an appt, but mostly its fine.
Since I see him now every two weeks, I get that reassurance when I hear her heart beat and so far she's been good (like she heard me or something) and has given me good movement once a day

I am only saying what my paper works says... take it or leave it.

Re: Do babies have quiet days?
DC def. has his quiet days, where I don't feel him for several hours. my doc never said anything about keeping track of his movements though. he is much quieter during the day, and goes a little nutty at night of course while I am trying to sleep
