Do Babies itch?
Emma has bad excema and it looks like she is scratching her head and face, but I thought I read that babies don't itch?

Julia just went to the dermatologist for this last week, she has it on her belly and back and the doctor asked me if she was itching it and I said no. He told me to put aquaphor on it but only a little bit cause its soooo greasy, or to use eucerine lotion on it 2x's a day or after a bath. It has cleared up a lot since shes had it.

That's what Emma's dr. suggested - except it's not working.  I feel so bad for her.

emily gets very dry scaly skin on her ankles -- not sure if it is ecsema (sp?) but we use aquaphor -- however has anyone tried cetaphil? i can't find it anywhere.

Cetaphil can be found at Target or CVS - places like that. It's in the soap aisle - not the baby aisle.

Maddie didn't itch until she was older - and then boy did she. She has extremely dry skin. Her pediatrician suggested oatmeal baths or use Dove Moisturizing Body Wash. Also unless necessary - I'm not supposed to bath her more than every 2-3 days.

I tried in the lotion aisle and didn't see it at Target -- so I'll try the soap aisle next! Thanks!!
