Do children need ID when traveling...
within the U.S. on Delta?
We usually bring the kids passports but didn't think I would need them if we are not going out of the country.

Re: Do children need ID when traveling...
I would bring SOMETHING....birth certificate
When we went to Orlando in April we had no problems going down but on the way back we were asked if we had DD's birth certificate (we didn't have a seat for her)....while it wasn't a problem eventually, it would save you from potential headaches!

Re: Do children need ID when traveling...
We just flew to California on Continental and didn't have to show anything for DC either way. I had copies of their birth certificates just in case, though.

Re: Do children need ID when traveling...
We flew to Orlando a couple of weeks ago and brought his birth certificate. We were never asked for it. I'd still bring it in the future just in case though.

Re: Do children need ID when traveling...
I wouldn't bring anything. I've never been asked to produce ANY form of ID for children when traveling within the US. Ever

Re: Do children need ID when traveling...
I usually bring a copy of DS' birth certificate (because the airline told us to the first time we flew) but, I've never been asked for it. We've flown 5x roundtrip.
