Traveling to Aruba with small children
We're leaving for Aruba in less than 2 weeks and I'm trying to pack on the lighter side which is hard with a 3 year old and 8 month old. I'm taking formula but was hoping to get regular diapers, swim diapers and jars of baby food there. Has anyone gone to Aruba and bought these things at the supermarket?
One more question - My 8 month old will be sitting on my lap for the plane ride but my 3 year old will have his own seat. We are debating whether or not to take the car seat on the airplane. He is a very active boy and I thought it might be a good way to keep him calm but at the same time he might go crazy sitting in it for 5 hours. What do you think?

You can buy anything in the supermarket there. Most items are imported from the US some from the Netherlands.
But everything is much more expensive there then it is here.
As for the plane, it is what you think is best for him. I travel with my nieces -- no car seats but they happen to be really good on planes.
