do flea bites look like little whitehead on a dogs stomach?

I was giving Gus a rub and he rolled onto his back and he's got like 6 little marks that look like whiteheads. They're not in a cluster, it's like one here, two over here, all on his lower tummy, and inner thighs.....I actually squeezed one an the little puss top came off, but nothing else came out, so I just gave him a little quick wash with his shampoo.....

He's a yellow lab, I checked his whole coat, I haven't found a flea, nor any flea droppings, and I checked under his arms, and near his tail....no other bites....

I wouldn't even be wondering about it, except that I tried biofoam(foster and smith version of advantix) instead of advantix, so now I'm kind of kicking myself......

does anyone know what flea bites look like?

If they were flea bites, he'd have flea dirt on his belly- which from what you describe he does not. He might just have doggie acne?

that's what I was thinking...he's been in the water all weekend and then laying on sand, and then laying on his bed, and I didn't give him a bath because he went in again sunday night, maybe it's just acne....I hope it's just acne....

he had acne on his chin last summer, but the pimples were bigger, and more under the skin....hopefully this is just an irritation.....

they were red with a little whitehead on them....tiny spots, almost like the size of a red hot, but not that red, and then just a little tiny white head...

It SOUNDS like acne. He might have clogged pores from the sand and water . I was thinking sand fleas at first- but they would look pretty irritated if they were.

Sounds like a rash or prickly heat to me.
