Do I need to reschedule the well baby visit?

Andy's got a bad cold with a runny nose and a fever. He's got a well baby visit tomorrow. Should I call the office to reschedule? I have a sitter lined up for Sarah since she freaks out at the doctor and I don't want Andy thinking that's normal, and I don't want to waste this person's day off if I'm probably going to have to bring him in another day anyway.

Oh, it's the 15 month visit so I'm pretty sure he'd be getting a vaccination.

I would call the office & tell them that he has a bad cold. If it's a really bad cold I would change it.

they probably will not want to give shots when he is sick.. i would either change it to a sick visit or reschedule.. hope he feels better!!

I called and they don't want to reschedule, even though I said I don't want to come back another time to do shots. They want to make sure it's not more serious than a cold. It's a low grade fever and clear runny nose. No coughing, no sneezing.

they dont want to reschedule? did they give you the option to not come in today? if you dont feel the need to go you shouldnt HAVE to go.. theyre not your child's parent. if you feel comfortable watching your child then you shouldnt go in.. just reschedule your whole well visit for when DC is feeling better.

Ugghhhh.. I hate when they do that.

I would flat out tell them that while it is just a cold with a little fever, you don't think it warrants a trip to the Dr. at this time and tell them you want to reschedule the well baby visit.

Sorry they are giving you such a hard time.
