do i really need a deep fryer to make this recipe??
i've never made anything that requires a deep fryer...do i really need one or can i just get away with regularly frying this? TIA!

i think you can do it in a pan but make sure you use a deep pan and a lot of oil

that's what i was thinking too, but i've never tried to make beer battered fish so i was a little scared...i think i'm gonna give it a try anyways!

I think it will cook a lot more even in a deep fryer that is why they suggest that. It is do-able in a regular pot though.
