Do not know what to do about my neighbors yard

After the storm the house across the street from me had a big tree down- it is nasty they have not done a thing to clear up the mess. The only thing is he piled twigs on his lawn in one spot. There is a tree down and it looks like it was eaten by termites or ants. there house has green mold on it. It is an eyesore and disgusting. I tried calling the town they can't do anything- should I call the health dept? I am not the only one in the neighborhood saying this is gross. To top it all off he is a horiculturist!!! I am worried about termites and ants. G-d only knows what is going on in there house!
Any suggestions? HELP!

if the town wouldn't do anything about it, I don't think the dept of health will. its really not a heath hazard to anyone around it.

what about getting some people in the neighborhood together, knocking on the door and offering to all come over on a Saturday to help clean up? (it would appear as a nice gesture & you're getting rid of the mess!) good luck!

It might not be there fault that the tree is still down.
We had a 40' foot fall on the side of the house. The storm was 2 weeks ago and we still couldn't get anyone to come out and cut it. Plus we had other trees we wanted down. Since we are having our patio done and the guy we are using has been beyond helpful, they spent the day yesterday taking all the trees we wanted down. Now he is going to get us someone to grind the stumps.
I actually had one company tell us yesterday the soonest they could come to us was in 6 weeks and another company (I actually used this company last year) tell me to call someone else
