Do they grow new tastebuds???!!!
DS has been on solids since 4 months, meats since 6 months, all of a sudden he won't eat certain things, gags on them, spits them out, doesn't swallow etc.....what the heck is going on?!

You'll probably find that happening throughout their life. DS is 3.5, and things that he loved at 2, he "doesn't like" now.
It's also possible he likes the attention he's getting. DS would smile and laugh a lot when he did stuff like that around that age. Even though they get our full attention when we feed them, it's not always the fun, reactive attention that they get when they spit the food out.
Don't worry, in a few years, all he'll like are hot dogs and french fries!
