do u mix baby food or serve jar as is?

i seem to always be mixing ds's gerber foods. i use mostly stage 1 and some stage 2's (still adding a new stage 2 every few days.)

for example. i'll mix his fruit with cereal for more texture or i'll mix 2 fruits together for a different taste. or for his veggie's i'll mix in different meats.

am i weird to do this?

I was mixing the meat with veggies (per Dr b/c he said it doesnt taste well on it's own). I also mix cereal and fruit.

Never thought of mixing two fruits!

I use as as, I want him to taste everything all by itself first so that he knows what it tastes like KWIM, then maybe leter on I may strt mixxing things up

I used to mix fruit with cereal in the very beginning. i don't anymore though. I serve it to her as it.
