Do you believe
every little gossip tidbit
i watch some of these posts and how the topics get discussed to death
and i guess sometimes i am just left like 
i mean...posts about Jess and that John Mayer (sp?)
and then about htem splitting up or someone dumping the other
it can make ya head spin ..
but to me it is as if people actually BELIEVE every little gossip tid bit...
i find it shocking

i agree.. the ONLY source of gossip I do believe is people magazine.. UNTIL they stated that Jessica Simpson was "IN LOVE" with John Mayer... and now she was never dating him
I don't believe anything that I read... Some things are of course true but honestly these tabloids really need stop! .

Well, I TRY to stay away from stuff that's too unbelievable.
The problem is that there are SO many gossip blogs and magazines - very often you see one story and then just hours later the opposite being posted.

Well, I TRY to stay away from stuff that's too unbelievable.

finding pics interesting is one thing
debating and discussing facts of celbs lives which probably aren't true...i find weird i guess
especially when you can sit and discuss a budding new relationship and then an hour later talk about the same person being dumped
like i said..just makes me  
So i wondered...if people actually believed the stories and tidbits to be factual when it is discussed at length

what i was curious about is do you believe in the gossip when you discuss it at such length

that was slammed for NOT EATING...
HOW TERRIBLE AND HORRIBLE SHE LOOKS
what if you found out she didn't in fact STARVE herself..
that she has a medical issue that is not public knowledge
do you feel like an arse for sitting there judging soo harshly?
For being sooo mean and judgemental? And stupid for writing and debating the topic?

This was not a "celebrity gossip" thing but I really wanted to believe that Jon Benet's killer was caught so that girl and her mother could rest in peace.

you did say something was wrong with it b/c in your last post above, you just said people would feel like an arse.
the answer is- i dont believe everything i hear and that goes for everything- not just gossip.
but i dont think its wrong to discuss it or to make my own assumptions. i dont know these people. they dont know me. its not like im calling up the ny post with my deductions. i keep them for a board and no one takes any of it seriously. i know i dont.
and of course i feel bad for a person if they are sick or unwell, but at the same time, fame has a price, and part of that price is that people talk about you and assume things.
