Do you bring someone to help you set up?
In my school most people do but this yr we got an email saying we can't due to liability issues, I'm annoyed bc I really needed someone to help do simple tasks that are just time consuming (labeling kids books or dusting) and most importently helping me move heavy furniture!

We can no longer bring anyone without prior approval from the building principal.

Re: Do you bring someone to help you set up?
We are allowed to bring someone, but it's like pulling teeth to try and get DH to come in with me. One of my work friends and I go in together and we help each other move the heavy stuff together, this year the costodians did quite a job stacking all our furniture and belongings to the ceiling!! I wish I took a pic of what it looked like when I got there, insane!!

Re: Do you bring someone to help you set up?
I spent twelve hours over the last two days in my new classroom. I usually bring help but this year I did it on my own..... and needed to stop at the chiropractor on the way home.

We're allowed to bring help, but this year DH has to watch the baby instead. My days are now limited to his 2 days off. Between that, no help, and a new room it's not fun!

Re: Do you bring someone to help you set up?
I've only had help when I was pregnant. This year my custodial was pissed b/c my husband was drilling in my closet to put a curtain rod up. Whoops!!
