Do you call your DR when you are sick?

Are you supposed to to let your OB know?

I have been sick this saturday with a head cold. I did not sleep at all last night because my sinus felt so dry and painful. Then I was breathing through my mouth and that hurts too.

No, you will get a cold while you're pregnant. Unless you have a fever or think its moving to bronchitis or pnemonia, just stick to homeopathic remedies: tea, saline for your nose, rest and OJ! You can also take an expectorant to loosen chest congestion like Robitussin or Mucinex as long as it is an expectorant only and does not have a decongestant or cough suppressent in it. Sudafed and Tylenol are safe too.

Thanks for the reply. I did not think I needed to call either. Although I don't have a thermometer, I don't think I have a fever.

I've been doing my usual, fluids, oj, rest. I am supposed to go to a dinner with DH job, but I just don't feel up to getting myself presentable.
