No....to me a fever isnt until he is over 100, and for me to call hte ped it has to be over 101.
At 99.7ish if he is crabby I would give tylenol but thats it

My ped would not consider it a fever until it is 101.5 or over.

if rectally then it is defintely NOT a temperature... if you took the temp orally it prob would be w/i normal range- I wouldn't worry.

No. I think that is a normal body fluctuation in temp.
My ped also told me 101.5
