No we don't eat out a lot. Usually try at least every other week as a treat. BUT with our current economic crisis. No we don't. unless my aunt pays.

I cook 99% of the time. DH works until 9 pm most nights anyway.

We don't eat "fast food" for meals.. except maybe once in a blue moon on the go for lunch.

We do order take-out, probably amounts to 3x a month. Pizza, Chinese, Mexican, or from a local Italian restaurant.

As far as going out to eat, we do, but for DH and I alone, it's usually 2 or 3 times a year (our birthdays and anniversary). With the kids, it's not often, but we do. And it's not a chain restaurant usually, it's a nice one :) (there's a reason I call it Crapplebee's).

I cook usually 4x a week. Fridays we always order out or go out. Saturdays we are usually either at a social event or eat out bc we are out. Sundays are often at my parents or out with our parents.

I prefer to eat homemade meals bc it is healthier and cheaper but once the weekends hit we are with friends, family and just wind up going out or ordering in bc it is fast and easy.

I usually cook almost every night, and if I don't have time to, we try to make sure we have things that are easy to prepare in the fridge - salads, sandwiches, soups, etc. Eating out we try to limit to 1-2 times a month, usually if we go out with friends or something.

I cook/prepare meals at home at least 4xs a week. (M-Th)
Friday night is always pizza.
Sometimes on Saturdays I cook but usually we order in.
Most Sundays I cook.

We always eat dinner out at least on Fri and Sat night if not more and grab lunch on the go on weekends as well. We cook the rest of the days. Very rare that we order takeout.

i cook (or reheat, or put together a salad, etc) most week nights. i'd say we order pizza/takeout once every 2 weeks or so and we almost always go out to eat at least one weekend night. so... i guess i'd say, on average we cook 5 days a week

This answer used to be a lot different before we had a child and when my DH was working an opposite schedule

Now:
Eat out MAYBE once a month (either with the baby at a chain type, kid friendly place or if we get a sitter alone at a nicer place)

Pizza once a week

Cook all other nights

When we were childless we ate out almost every week

When he was working an odd schdeule- we got take out a LOT.
I barely cooked because it was usually just me at dinner time so I'd get take out for myself, eat a sandwich, or a bowl of cereal

I cook 6 nights a week on average and we have a family date night out every Friday.

occasionally if I've forgotten to take someout out or I just don't have it in me, we'll order pizza or chinese from a local neighborhood joint.

I abhor Applebee's.

We go out to eat on average once a month. With a 2 year old, it's a lot more enjoyable to stay home! It also saves us a lot of money! I cook about 4-5 times a week, & the other couple of days we will get fast food/pizza/make sandwiches/leftovers/something simple.

Mostly on the weekends.
Sat. Nights we either order in or go out and Sunday we meet up with the family and eat out as well.
I try my best to cook home M-F.

I try to cook at least 5 nights/week with a leftover night and Pizza Fridays that started during Lent and my kid wouldn't let us stop LOL

DH gets takeout once per week, dh and I have eat dinner out once per week and I have have lunch out with my mom about once per week.

We eat out a LOT - probably 4-5 nights a week. We keep saying we are going to eat at home more often, but haven't gotten into a good routine with that yet.

We eat dinner out 1-2 times per week. I cook about 2-3 times a week and we have left overs the other 2-3 times per week.

We bring lunch from home.

lunch - I eat out M-F (meaning panera, deli type places, chain places, nothing extravagant)

dinner - i'd say we eat out 2 nights a week, takeout 1, cook 4. Have no kids.

I could save so much by not eating lunch out at work - but it's the only thing that gets me through the day. i couldn't tolerate being stuck in my office all day.
